Monika was born in Italy and she had studied art ever since. After she graduated at the "Accademia di Belle Arti" decided to continue to study and she took a MA in Painting restoration.
Later she took a PG in Japanese and Korean art in London, where she actually lives and works. She has just completed a research degree in Fine art (MA by project) with a project on
“nature and the rituals of gesture” through the expression of Zen brushwork and she works as a professional artist and tutor.
She participated to various exhibitions, had solo exhibitions in Germany, Italy and England and won few prizes. Lately, she is been selected for a show in Berlin following a competition and her work will also be published on an international art book and art dictionary.
