I have always been creative in one form or another. This has in the past included furniture making, creating my own knitwear and mural painting. I was eventually drawn to illustration and as a mature student with a family, I returned to study. In 2009 I graduated with a HND Visual Communication (Illustration). I am currently extending my skills with a BA Applied Graphics Technology with Multimedia. This course covers website design, human computer interface design, video editing and animation.

I take inspiration from everything and everywhere. I enjoy working with textures, whether that is through mixed media pieces or digitally. I am drawn to illustrating animals, although I enjoy any subject.

Aside from my artwork, I also enjoy writing, reading and gardening, as well as spending time with my family.
