A move to Dubai (2007-2010) gave me the freedom to rediscover my creativity and love of painting and drawing. I have much to thank the tutors at the Dubai Community Theatre & Arts Centre where I found an enjoyable and fulfilling job and the opportunity to try out different art media, in particular, Souheil Madi who persuaded me that I could draw and Maria Peat who introduced me to watercolour, aspects of which I use in my acrylic creations.

Inspiration for my art is drawn from my travels. I particularly like quirky animal studies and producing decorative abstracts that integrate shapes, forms and colours which capture the essence of favourite places.

Previously having exhibited in Dubai my work will next be shown (in a joint exhibition with Anton Ratnayake) in the Framers Gallery, 36, Windmill Street, London, W1 from 25 - 30th November 2013.
